Shahbaz Malik, MD

Shahbaz Malik, MD, is board-certified physician with staff privileges at St. David’s South Austin Medical Center,  Austin, Texas.  Dr. Malik is board certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology.  He specializes in cancers of the blood and bone and marrow transplants. Dr. Shahbaz earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia and completed his internal medicine residency training at Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He then went on to completing a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at University of Maryland and a fellowship in blood and marrow transplantation at Stanford University.

Additionally, Dr. Malik he has participated in several clinical research projects throughout his career and his work has been published in numerous medical journals. He is an Associate member of the American Society of Hematology.
