Devin Garza, MD, FACOG

Devin Garza, MD, FACOG is a gynecology surgeon with a special interest and extensive experience in minimally invasive robotic surgery to treat gynecologic conditions. He earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas and completed his internship at Franklin Square Hospital and residency at Franklin Square Hospital and Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Garza currently serves on faculty an Assistant Clinical Professor for  The University of Texas Dell Medical School Department of Women’s Health. 

Dr. Garza has performed over 2,000 cases using a surgical robot since 2006. He teaches courses at the advanced and masters’ level, working with surgeons from all over the world who observe and learn best practices in safe surgical techniques. He was named an “Epicenter – Mentor Center Surgeon” for his expertise. 

Dr. Garza established a private practice in Austin in 1993 called Travis Ob/Gyn Associates and later joined the Renaissance Women’s Group in 2008. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of several professional organizations including the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, and the Southern Medical Association. 

Dr. Garza, who was born in Corpus Christi, married his wife Catherine in 1988. They have four children — Devin, Logan, Meagan and Graceyn. They are partners at the Austin Stone Community Church.
