[CME] In this course, transplant hepatologist Lanla Conteh, MD, MPH, discusses the epidemiology of hepatocellular carcinoma in the United States and how to recognize patients who should be screened for this cancer. She explains the rising incidence of hepatocellular carcinoma, new directions in treatment, diagnostic imaging tests of choice, how to biopsy a suspected hepatocellular carcinoma, viral hepatitis risk factors and fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma.
