Survivorship after Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation

In this engaging video, Alison Loren, MD, reports on survivorship among patients following autologous and allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation. Defining the well-known risk factors, prognostic indicators and longterm complications for HCT, Dr. Loren offers an overview of the future for these populations, who are generally at greater risk for mortality and morbidity as a result of second cancers (oral, esophageal, breast and lung) and organ failure as well as relapse and chronic host vs. graft disease.
