Constantine Mavroudis, MD, is the Director of the Congenital Heart Institute at Florida Hospital for Children. Dr. Mavroudis has been working with Florida Hospital’s Institute for Surgical Advancement on a new heart holder prototype, which helps in simulation and allows medical students, residents, and other surgeons to learn techniques in the heart.
