Assessment and Accountability: The Challenges for Transplant Professionals

Dr. David A. Axelrod, associate professor of surgery and section chief of solid organ transplant surgery at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, discusses the limitations of current methods to assess center performance; describes current and future metrics in transplant care and examines the potential implications of the shift to ACOs on assessment of transplant care.
