Selection of the most suitable implant is a critical component of providing high quality hip arthroplasty care. Since revision is an undesirable outcome and is widely reported across arthroplasty registries, we include a chapter on revision risk. These data are based on primary cases performed from 2/15/2015 to 12/31/2016. The first section provides an overview of THA, primary and revision procedures combined. All revision risk in sections two through four are for primary conventional THA only.
