SARS-CoV-2 Infection and Post-Extubation Laryngeal Function

Johns Hopkins Otolaryngologist Kevin Motz recaps a presentation, from the 2021 annual meeting of the AAOHNSF, about research related to the incidence and sequela of intubation related to COVID-19. The findings highlight the need for surveillance of survivorship of patients with COVID-19, specifically looking at post-intubation laryngeal dysfunction and diagnosis.
