Pelvic Fixation with Sacral-Alar-Iliac Screws for Patients with Neuromuscular Scoliosis

Patients with neuromuscular scoliosis, poor trunk control, and pelvic obliquity often require extension of their instrumentation down to their pelvis to better control their spinopelvic deformity. While a variety of methods exist to provide fixation to the pelvis, we describe our technique for anchoring the spine instrumentation distally using sacral-alar-iliac screws.
