Pediatric patients frequently experience falls and other mild trauma that result in their presenting to the Emergency Department. While many of these injuries are easily diagnosed and managed, this presentation will discuss some of the more subtle and often overlooked injuries - some common, some unusual - that you should keep in mind when seeing pediatric patients. It will also review high-yield strategies to assist with interpreting pediatric orthopedic X-rays.
