Jason S. McKitrick

Jason McKitrick is a Principal at Liberty Partners Group. His areas of expertise include health care policy, reimbursement, coverage, and budget process, among others. Either in a Congressional capacity or in private practice, Jason has been involved in every major piece of healthcare legislation and subsequent regulatory action since the Balanced Budget Act of 1997. 

Prior to joining Liberty Partners Group in 2010, Jason served for four years as a Government Relations Advisor in King & Spalding's Government Advocacy and Public Policy Practice Group. Before his transition to private practice in 2005, Jason spent 10 years on Capitol Hill as a legislative aide and Committee staff member. 

From 1995 to 1998, Jason worked as a health policy aide for House Budget Committee Chairman John R. Kasich and also was responsible for a wide range of other policy issues. In 1998, Jason moved to the House Budget Committee as a professional staff member. During his seven years on the Committee, Jason served as the lead member of the health policy staff.

Since leaving Capitol Hill, Jason has worked extensively to serve the needs of his health care clients. Jason is able to draw on a variety of professional experiences for his clients, having served as a vice-president of government affairs, executive director of several coalitions, outside lobbyist for multiple clients, economics advisor for a specialty society, and board advisor, among other roles. His clients have spanned the healthcare spectrum and have included a leading radiation therapy provider, a major medical oncology network, leading dialysis companies, a home health coalition, several physician specialty groups, health information technology companies, medical device companies, patient advocacy groups, research groups, and many others. 

Jason received his Bachelor’s degree from the College of William and Mary. He also holds a Masters in Business Administration for Medical Services Management from Johns Hopkins University.
