New Method of Heart Ablation Using Electrical Pulses

John Hummel, MD details another exciting first for the electrophysiology team at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Dr. Hummel explains how using electrical pulses instead of thermal pulses is a much gentler form of ablation, reducing the risk of collateral damage to the heart. This pilot trial could dramatically improve treatment of irregular heart rhythms.
