In this CME, Gavin Hickey, MD and David Kaczorowski, MD, discuss how to identify cardiogenic shock using improved diagnostic skills so that appropriate preventive care can be implemented, follow recommended processes by SCAI Shock Staging tool in order to improve early patient identification, and implement improved audience management of the responsibilities of mechanical circulatory support, which will result in optimized care for patients with cardiogenic shock.
