Fetal Gastroschisis

Eric Jelin, director of the fetal program at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, explains gastroschisis, its possible causes and the procedure to repair it surgically after a baby is born. In collaboration with the Johns Hopkins fetal therapy team, the Children’s Center fetal experts are uniquely equipped to diagnose and treat the mother and fetus in the same hospital.
