Endoscopic Full Thickness Resection of Gastric SET

Stavros Stavropoulos, MD, performs endoscopic full thickness resection of gastric subepithelial tumor. 37-Year-old Chinese male with no significant past medical history presents for treatment of gastric subepithelial tumor.  Patient reports epigastric pain for the past 2 years which has been unresponsive to PPI therapy and worsening over past 2 months. He had endoscopy to further evaluate abdominal pain. On EGD he found to have a gastric subepithelial tumor. Patient was referred to NYU WUH for EUS-FNAB which showed scant cellular material suggestive of exocrine pancreatic acini consistent with pancreatic heterotopia. This video is part of the 11th Annual Long Island Live Endoscopy Course, Frontiers of Endoscopic Surgery.
