Luis Felipe Tornes, M.D., recently joined Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute as a neurologist and the director of epilepsy. He is fluent in English and Spanish.

Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Tornes completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine/Jackson Memorial Hospital System. He is also a member of the American Academy of Neurology.

“As a neurologist, I understand that I can have a profound impact on my patients’ lives. I saw that firsthand as my mother has multiple sclerosis and my father had epilepsy. I am here to help all my patients holistically with their physical, emotional and mental well-being, “ says Dr. Tornes.

Dr. Tornes earned his medical degree from Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. He then completed a neurology residency at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine/Jackson Memorial Hospital System.

Dr. Tornes will see patients at 8950 North Kendall Dr., Suite 410W, Miami, FL 33176.
