Transcatheter Pulmonary Valve Replacement in Congenital Heart Disease

In this CME presentation, Bryan H. Goldstein, MD, describes the diagnostic skills needed for identifying adults with congenital heart disease so that mortality and morbidity can be reduced in a vulnerable cardiovascular population.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe diagnostic skills for identifying adults with congenital heart disease so mortality and morbidity will be reduced in a vulnerable cardiovascular population
  • Implement pulmonary valve replacement surgery to mitigate complications of cardiovascular diseases like Tetralogy of Fallot and Right Ventricular Outflow Tract tachycardias and improve patient outcomes
  • Follow recommended processes and procedures for TPVR with different Tetralogy patients in order to recommend optimal treatment plans that are appropriate for individualized care
