In this presentation, Hemal Gada, MD, MBA, explains how to improve diagnostic skills by identifying the tricuspid valve lesion classification associated with regurgitation. He also discusses how to design an appropriate approach for each patient and how to determine which patients are better candidates for replacement, angioplasty, or edge-to-edge repair.

• Implement diagnostic skills by selecting the appropriate imaging techniques for classifying tricuspid valve classification, including high-quality 3D transesophageal echo imaging and a good transgastric view
• Describe patient outcomes by determining which patients are better candidates for replacement, angioplasty, or edge-to-edge repair and designing an appropriate approach for that patient based on the mechanism involved
