Overview
This virtual activity will bring together expert faculty and participants involved in the care of patients with urologic conditions to discuss current and new concepts in diagnosis and treatment for male and female patients. This activity will explore management of stones, BPH treatment options, elevated PSA, recurrent UTIs, sexual dysfunction and the medical management of transgender patients.

Objectives

  1. Apply evidence-based medicine to improve the diagnosis, treatment and management of patients with urologic conditions
  2. Assess current and evolving practices in the treatment of urolithiasis, prostate cancer and bladder cancer to define outcomes and treatment options for patients
  3. Counsel male patients on a variety of urologic issues including PSA screening and infertility
  4. Discuss the appropriate use of robotic surgery as an option for management of certain urologic conditions
  5. Integrate best-practice recommendations to meet the needs of transgender and LGBTQ patients
  6. Apply acquired knowledge to improve the management of adults with congenital urological abnormalities
